CHARLOTTE Crosby has admitted she secretly swapped messages with new boyfriend Josh Ritchie while still with her ex Stephen Bear.

The former Geordie Shore star, 28, revealed she was tempted to meet up with Josh behind Bear's back when the pair both found themselves exchanging private messages on Twitter on separate trips in Ireland.

She told The Sun: "When I was still kinda with Stephen, Josh actually slid into my DMs.

"He was like, 'are you in Ireland tonight?' I was like, 'yeah, I'm Ireland' and he went, 'you wanna meet up?' And I was actually thinking about it."

Charlotte's most recent visit to Ireland was in August last year.

While on the promo trip, Charlotte gushed to The Sun about being "very much in love with" Bear, 28, but three hours later he tweeted they'd broken up with little explanation as to why.

Facing the Big Bad Buzzer on Dan Wootton's Facebook, Charlotte described Bear, who she briefly reunited with before splitting for good in October, as "just a bad person" and said her relationship with Josh, 24, was "very laid back" and "chilled."

Her Just Tattoo of Us co-star Scotty T, 30, told Charlotte he thought her relationship with Bear had been toxic.

He said: "I didn't like Stephen. I didn't like him with you. The way you are with [Josh] is just different, I can just tell.

"You used to always be on a phone constantly saying, 'why are you saying this?' You seem so chilled with him.

"And it's not too full on as well. It's not like what it's been like in the past. It's like, 'alright ok, if I've not seen him, I've not seen him'. It's like noone's complaining to each other."

Charlotte is believed to have started dating Ex on the Beach star Josh in December after they were spotted in a PDA at Geordie Shore favourite Aaron Chalmers' MMA fight.

She revealed earlier this month that she wants to try for a baby next year.
