AS the nights draw in, there’s nothing nicer than a warming glass of red wine of an evening.
And one wine connoisseur has spotted a £10 in Aldi that tastes just like Meghan Markle’s £150 favourite.

Liam posts on TikTok as @TheWineWally, and has racked up 17k followers with his clips recommending top-tier tipples.
A recent clip disclosing his favourite Aldi dupe racked up a whopping 800k views, with viewers obsessed with the savvy swap “hiding in plain sight”.
“You and I know Aldi love a good dupe,” the beverage buff began by telling viewers.
“But did you know there is a secret red wine dupe hiding in plain sight on the shelves right now?”

Heading to the store’s booze aisle, Liam selected a bottle of the supermarket’s Specially Selected Toscana Rosso, which is priced at an incredibly reasonable £9.99.
The label describes it as having a “medium, full bodied taste”, and recommends pairing it with a hearty dish like roast lamb.
“It’s inspired by a famous Italian red from Tuscany called Tignanello,” the savvy shopper explains, “one of the most influential wines in the history of Italian wine making.”
The main difference between the two seems to be the price point – Aldi’s £10 version is just a slither of the price of the £150 original.

Liam does admit that he’s not tried the pricey vino, but trying the Aldi version, he says it’s “elegant, smooth, and bursting with floral and bright fruit flavours”.
“It even had rave reviews on ‘Saturday Kitchen’ this weekend,” Liam concludes, while showing a picture shared on the show’s Instagram featuring the delicious red.
Given the luxurious Tignanello is a favourite of celebs – the name of Meghan Markle’s former blog, ‘The Tig’, was reportedly inspired by it – Aldi’s dupe seems like an absolute must-try.
And viewers clearly agreed, with one writing that it was “down to £5.99 a few months ago, and honestly it’s the nicest wine I’ve ever drank”.
Another added that they’d “just got it – had to go to two different Aldis but was worth it, it’s lush.”
A third simply gushed that “I’ve had this, and it’s gorgeous,” followed by an array of heart-eye emojis.
