TWO people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a newborn baby girl was found dead at a flat.
Emergency crews were scrambled to Mimosa Close in Havering, Essex, last night following concerns for the tot's welfare.
Tragically, they discovered the body of a baby at the property.
Officers confirmed the death is currently being treated as unexpected and an investigation is ongoing.
A man and woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
Police said: "At approximately 19:40hrs on Tuesday, 22 August police were called to an address in Mimosa Close, Havering following reports for concerns of the welfare of a baby.
